As a first generation immigrant from China, I mostly focus my work on personal experiences and family interaction. In my recent pieces Red Buddha and Blue Buddha I focus on the sociopolitical issues in China pertaining to the Tibetan territory that wants to be free from China.

I believe that as human beings we must respect each other's religion and culture. In Red Buddha, Chairman Mao is the symbol of the communism in the world. In Blue Buddha the woman represents the communism and the seducer. I hope to convey the influence of communism on Buddhism.
